A true 41/29 upgrade for BB86 DUB bikes
Fitting a SRAM DUB spindle inside a 41 mm BB86 / BB92 shell leaves very little room for the bearing architecture. Bikone addresses this with a dedicated DCTech design, 7075-T6 cups and precision steel bearings.

Why BB86 DUB needs a dedicated design
A BB86 frame has only a 41 mm internal shell diameter, while a DUB spindle is almost 29 mm. Bearing dimensions, cup thickness and alignment therefore become critical. The DCT BB86-92_29 is not a Shimano adapter: it is built specifically around the 41/29 interface.

What does 41/29 mean?
41 mm is the BB86 / BB92 frame shell diameter. 28.99 / 29 mm is the SRAM DUB spindle diameter.
This model is therefore not suitable for Shimano 24 mm or Rotor 30 mm crank spindles.

Rival AXS, Force AXS, Red AXS and other DUB cranksets
The DUB diameter is shared by many SRAM road, gravel and MTB cranksets. Final compatibility still depends on the frame, crank version and required spacer arrangement.
DUB Wide uses a different spacer configuration from standard road DUB. Follow the Bikone / SRAM spacer chart for the exact crankset.

Spacer requirements differ between standard BB86 road, DUB Wide and BB92 MTB setups. Use the exact Bikone / SRAM spacer chart for your crank and frame. Incorrect spacing can affect preload or chainline.
PressFit installation
Press the unit squarely into a clean, inspected shell. PressFit noises can originate from the frame/cup interface as well as from the bearings themselves.

FAQ — Bikone BB86 SRAM DUB 41/29
Will it fit SRAM Force AXS or Red AXS DUB?
Yes when the crank has a DUB spindle and the frame is BB86 Ø41 mm. Use the correct spacing for standard or Wide versions.
Is this a 41/29 bottom bracket?
Yes: 41 mm frame shell and an approximately 29 mm DUB spindle.
Can it be used on a BB92 MTB frame?
Bikone specifies the family for 86.5–92 mm shells, but crank type, chainline and spacer configuration must match the MTB application.
Can I use Shimano 24 mm cranks?
No. Choose the dedicated Bikone 41/24 Shimano / Rotor 24 mm version.
Is there a ceramic version?
Yes. Bikone offers the DCT C BB86-92_29 with hybrid ceramic bearings in the same BB86 DUB format.
