The Alugear Shimano 12-speed chainring + aero cover kit is designed to replace or upgrade the chainrings on your Shimano Ultegra or Dura-Ace 12-speed crankset.
Machined in Europe from 7075-T6 aluminium, Alugear chainrings combine low weight, high stiffness and precise shifting. The aero cover gives the crankset a particularly clean appearance while improving its aerodynamic profile.

With dedicated 8100P and 9200P covers, the Alugear kit fits perfectly on Ultegra/Dura-Ace cranks with an integrated power meter while preserving both aero aesthetics and stiffness.
Aero chainrings have become rare since Rotor discontinued their 50/34 and 52/36 versions. This Alugear kit, made in Europe, lets you keep your modern Shimano crankset while gaining lightness, precision, and aerodynamic efficiency. It also offers an upgrade to 54/40 gearing, previously exclusive to Dura-Ace.

Power meter compatibility: the 8100P and 9200P covers are specifically designed for Ultegra R8100P and Dura-Ace R9200P cranks with built-in sensors. The 8100 and 9200 versions are intended for non-sensor models.

Installation recommendations
- Always use both Alugear chainrings from the same kit to maintain shifting ramps and performance.
- Use the original Alugear bolts (included). Max torque: 10 Nm – 5 mm hex key.
- Install a new, well-lubricated chain for optimal performance and durability.
Alugear designs some of the lightest chainrings on the market. Their specific tooth profile reduces noise, limits wear, and ensures clean shifting even under load. Proudly manufactured in Poland.

Comment: The ALUGEAR setup is not only highly aerodynamic but also extremely competitive in weight.
Unlike many aero products on the market, it does not penalize your crankset in terms of mass or stiffness.
