For an Ultegra rider, TWiN2 adds more sophisticated training analysis without disrupting the mechanical or visual consistency of the bike. INPEAK specifies its updated right-side sensor design with extra strain gauges. A compelling alternative to Shimano's integrated power-meter cranks.
Why choose genuine TWiN2 dual measurement?
TWiN2 independently measures both legs. A SINGLE left-arm meter measures the left leg and estimates total power; it cannot independently measure left/right balance. Dual sensing does not automatically mean a better advertised percentage accuracy: its key advantage is genuine bilateral information.
Following injury or a prolonged break, left/right readings can help track how each leg contributes over successive rides. These metrics are not a medical diagnosis or a substitute for rehabilitation advice; fatigue and workload can also change balance.
Shimano compatibility and installation
Complete Shimano Ultegra FC-R8100 12-speed road crankset with a 24 mm Hollowtech II axle. Verify crank length, chainring combination, bottom bracket and front-derailleur setup.
Crank lengths, gearing and availability
Supplier-listed lengths: 160, 165, 170, 172.5 and 175 mm, with 50/34 or 52/36 chainrings, subject to availability.
Availability depends on your selected variant: fast dispatch only if physically in stock at Velo-Perso; otherwise sourced from the supplier, usually around 15 days subject to confirmation.
Need an unlisted crank length or tooth combination? Contact us. We can check with INPEAK and our supplier, generally with a short lead time of around 15 days when a factory order is possible.
Charging and cycling metrics
Rechargeable Li-Po battery with magnetic USB charging; up to 90 hours of claimed operation, approximately 2 hours for full charging, IP67 protection and automatic temperature compensation. ANT+ / Bluetooth Low Energy transmission for power, cadence, L/R balance and compatible pedalling metrics depending on your head unit.
INPEAK states ±2% accuracy and offers firmware updates via INPEAK MANAGER. Magnetic charging cable is listed as included by the manufacturer.
INPEAK TWiN2 versus Rotor 2INpower SL
If weight, flexible gearing and a modular platform matter more, Rotor 2INpower SL also measures both legs independently. It uses a 30 mm axle and is rated at 530 g without chainrings in 170 mm; confirm bottom bracket fit, and on GRX builds check chainline and drivetrain compatibility carefully.

What is included?
A complete matching Shimano crankset with integrated INPEAK TWiN2 power measurement, charging cable and manufacturer documentation. A bottom bracket is not confirmed as included and should be checked separately.
