CyclingCeramic supports a wide variety of configurations: BB86, BSA, ITA, T47, T47A, T45, BB30, PF30, BB386, BBRight, BB90 and BB65, plus other standards according to the product. There are solutions for recent bikes as well as older or less common frames.
Many models cost around €140–150, depending on the standard and exact reference. Compatibility starts with your frame’s bottom bracket shell and the crank spindle: 24 mm, SRAM DUB or 30 mm.
| Frame standard | Options to look for | Check before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| BB86 / PF86.5 | 24 mm Shimano / Rotor; DUB versions and other conversions where listed | 41 mm shell bore, shell width, road vs MTB |
| Threaded BSA | 24 mm, DUB or 30 mm depending on the product | Shell width, thread specification, external cup clearance |
| T47 / T47A | 24 mm, 30 mm and DUB; inboard or outboard cups | 68 / 77 / 86.5 mm shell widths and potential asymmetry |
| ITA / T45 | Specific threaded solutions | Exact standard, crank spindle and frame generation |
| BB30 / PF30 / PF30A | 30 mm setups, 24 mm conversions and variants | Internal diameter and actual shell width |
| BB386 / BBRight | Frame- and spindle-specific versions | Offset, shell width and available space |
| Trek BB90 / Look BB65 | Dedicated product references | Frame model year, generation and original setup |
Before ordering: do not rely on your bike brand alone. Check both the frame standard and the crank spindle. Our finder can help identify a compatible reference.
Ceramic pulleys let you improve your drivetrain without replacing the complete derailleur cage. This is a practical way to upgrade selected components rather than the whole system.
Keep your original cage and replace only the pulleys designed for your derailleur. Options for Shimano 12-speed groupsets are among the available products.

CyclingCeramic oversized cages offer some of the strongest value in their European category. They are backed by years of development, refinement and real-world feedback. The 2026 lineup addresses road versatility, fast riding, aero-focused setups and gravel, with different colours and selected Shimano / SRAM compatibilities.
| Range | Main use | Key features |
|---|---|---|
| Race | Versatile road cycling | Accessible entry into oversized cages, open-design pulleys, sporty appearance, several colours and strong value. |
| Pro | Performance road cycling | A more premium approach, with solid pulleys and refined finishing. |
| Aero | Time trial / triathlon / fast road riding | A more streamlined cage designed with aerodynamic use in mind. |
| GRX | Gravel | A dedicated solution for compatible gravel drivetrains, focusing on durability and suitability for off-road riding. |
Always confirm compatibility using the exact rear derailleur model and cassette. A SRAM AXS road cage is not automatically compatible with every SRAM drivetrain.
Wheel bearings are a more specialised upgrade, especially relevant when servicing premium wheelsets. To select the correct bearing kit, identify the exact hub model and generation. This is particularly important for Zipp, whose wheelsets use several generations of hubs.
The Zipp 12 kit is among the options available for compatible ZR1 SL hubs. If you are unsure which hub you have, consult the wheel bearing guide before ordering.

Ceramic bearings, pulley wheels and oversized cages can help reduce certain sources of mechanical friction. However, the actual benefit depends on the starting point: the condition of the original bearings, alignment, installation, lubrication, riding conditions and test method.
In practice: a correctly fitted bottom bracket, compatible pulleys and a well-maintained drivetrain are the best starting points for getting the most out of CyclingCeramic components.
Velo-Perso has supplied and advised on technical cycling components since 2009. With CyclingCeramic, choosing well means more than selecting a brand: frame standards, spindle sizes, derailleur generations and hub references all matter.
Not sure which part you need? Send us the bike model and year, crankset, groupset or hub reference so we can help you choose correctly the first time.
First identify your frame’s bottom bracket standard. A BB86 road frame with a 41 × 86.5 mm shell needs a different bottom bracket from a BSA or T47 frame. Spindle diameter alone is not enough.
Yes. DUB and 30 mm options are available for several frame standards. SRAM DUB is not the same as a 30 mm spindle: choose the version specifically designed for your crankset.
Replace it when its bearings are worn, during a new build, or when upgrading to a compatible ceramic model. Always confirm your frame standard and crank spindle first.
Ceramic replacement pulleys are the simpler upgrade because you keep your original derailleur cage. An oversized cage is a more extensive drivetrain upgrade, with Race, Pro, Aero and GRX options for different riding needs.
Race focuses on versatile road use; Pro offers a more premium performance-oriented configuration; Aero is aimed at fast road riding, time trials and triathlon; GRX is designed for compatible gravel drivetrains.
No. Compatibility depends on the exact derailleur model and generation. Road, gravel, XPLR and older versions are not interchangeable.
There is no reliable universal figure. Any reduction in friction depends on the components being replaced, their condition, installation, chain lubrication and the test method.
Start with the exact hub model and generation, then verify the bearing dimensions or use the Velo-Perso wheel bearing guide. The wheel brand alone may not identify the correct kit.
Like other high-quality bearings, they benefit from suitable maintenance. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, avoid high-pressure water jets and use appropriate service products when required.
