BB386 EVO, PF46 and 30 mm: three dimensions to understand
The 30 mm figure describes the crank spindle, not the frame shell diameter. The Bikone DCT PF46_30 IN is pressed into a 46 mm frame shell and accepts a 30 mm crank spindle.
A road BB386 EVO shell is approximately 86.5 mm wide. Bikone specifies this internal PF46 architecture more broadly for shell widths from 68 to 92 mm, so the exact frame standard, discipline and required spacers should always be checked before installation.

A PressFit bottom bracket should be pressed squarely into a clean frame shell using the correct installation tool. Creaking does not always come from the bearings: the interface between the cup and frame can also be responsible.

Is this bottom bracket compatible with a Rotor ALDHU Carbon?
Yes, provided your frame uses a compatible BB386 EVO / PF46 shell. Rotor ALDHU Carbon uses a 30 mm spindle.
Can I fit a 30 mm Rotor ALDHU or VEGAST to a BB386 EVO frame?
Yes, with the correct axle and required spacers. This bottom bracket provides the interface between the frame's 46 mm shell and the crankset's 30 mm spindle.
Are BB386 EVO and BB30 the same standard?
No. A BB386 EVO frame uses an approximately 46 mm internal shell diameter, while a BB30 frame shell is different. The “30 mm” on this page refers to the crank spindle.
Is it compatible with SRAM DUB?
No. SRAM DUB uses an approximately 28.99 / 29 mm spindle. Choose the dedicated Bikone PF46 / BB386 EVO DUB 29 mm version instead.
Is it compatible with Shimano 24 mm cranksets?
No. This reference is designed for 30 mm spindles. Shimano cranksets require the PF46 / BB386 EVO version designed around a 24 mm spindle.

Steel is the best-value choice for a reliable, high-quality build. The ceramic version is more relevant to a premium build where exceptionally smooth bearing operation is the priority.
