"In gravel riding, an oversized cage prevents your pulleys from clogging up too quickly. The ceramic bearings are also more resistant to dust and moisture. As it's more challenging to maintain high chain efficiency towards the end of a gravel ride, a dirty chain's efficiency will tend to degrade less with an oversized cage. The carbon plates are doubled, making them resistant to stone impacts but not to the most severe falls. The plates are available separately if needed."
Installation Tips: Add 2 to 4 extra links compared to the original cage, and ensure a new chain is used when installing this cage.
