Bikone Long-Lasting Grease 140 ml: long-life bottom bracket and bearing maintenance

Bikone Long-Lasting Grease for Bottom Bracket Maintenance is a high-durability grease for critical bicycle rotating points: bottom-bracket bearings, seals, hub and headset bearings, internal mechanisms and pivots. It is designed to maintain smooth rotation while providing long-lasting protection against water, contamination and high loads.

The formula combines a high-viscosity-index synthetic base oil with an organic urea thickener. It creates a stable, highly adhesive, low-friction lubricating film with NLGI 2 consistency.

How To: service a Bikone bottom bracket or replace a bearing

1. Remove the dust covers and access the bearing. Bikone 24/29 mm dust-cover tools can make this easier on compatible models.
2. Clean all contact surfaces. Bikone recommends BB & Bearing Cleaner or another suitable degreaser. In its bearing-replacement instructions, Bikone specifically says not to apply degreaser to seals.
3. Inspect bearings and seals. Replace worn or contaminated parts rather than masking a mechanical problem with extra grease.
4. Apply a thin, even layer. Do not overpack the area.
5. Grease all seal contact areas. Bikone's service instructions recommend greasing the seal before reinstalling the dust cover and making sure the integrated O-ring is correctly seated.
6. Wipe off excess and reassemble.

Clean thoroughly before use, apply a thin layer and remove excess. Bikone advises against mixing this grease with products of a different nature and recommends keeping the container closed to prevent water, dust or particles from contaminating it.
