Scicon Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium Crystal Black Cycling Sunglasses
The Scicon Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium Crystal Black combines the technical construction of Scicon’s latest high-performance cycling sunglasses with a distinctive translucent-black finish. The Crystal Black front frame creates more visual depth than a conventional solid-black frame while retaining a discreet and versatile racing style.
Designed for demanding road cycling, training and competition, the Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium features adjustable medical-grade titanium temples, a lightweight Grilamid TR90 front frame and a large cylindrical Hi-Contrast shield lens. The result is a stable, protective and highly adjustable pair of cycling sunglasses weighing approximately 40 g.
Crystal Black: a technical and refined frame color
The Crystal Black finish subtly reveals the structure and angular lines of the frame. It offers a more sophisticated appearance than a fully opaque black model without becoming overly bright or visually dominant.
This neutral frame works with every lens available in the product selector:
- Smoke Black: creates the most discreet and homogeneous combination, with a dark neutral lens suited to bright sunlight.
- Multimirror Green: adds a vivid green mirrored contrast to the translucent-black structure.
- Multimirror Silver: produces a clean, technical and contemporary monochrome appearance.
- Photochromic: combines the Crystal Black frame with a lens that automatically adapts to changing light conditions.
Choose the right Aeroshade 2.0 lens
Use the Select Lens Color menu to choose the lens best suited to your riding conditions and preferred style.
- Smoke Black – Category 3, 14% light transmission: a neutral dark lens designed for sunny rides and strong daylight. It preserves natural-looking colors and creates the most understated Crystal Black configuration.
- Multimirror Green – Category 3, 11% light transmission: the darkest mirrored option in this selection. Its green reflective finish gives the glasses a more expressive racing identity while remaining suitable for intense sunlight.
- Multimirror Silver – Category 3, 12% light transmission: a bright silver mirror designed for sunny conditions. It highlights the angular shape of the Crystal Black frame and delivers a premium technical appearance.
- Photochromic Multi Mirror Green – Categories 1 to 3, 13–48% light transmission: the most versatile choice for changing weather, early starts, shaded roads and variable mountain conditions. The lens automatically becomes lighter or darker according to ambient light.
Medical-grade titanium temples
The adjustable temples are produced from medical-grade titanium, selected for its strength, controlled flexibility and resistance to corrosion, deformation and temperature variation. This construction helps the sunglasses maintain a secure and consistent fit throughout long rides and repeated use.
The lightweight front frame is made from Grilamid TR90, a material valued for its flexibility and impact resistance. Flexible Tactigrip™ temple tips improve retention without creating unnecessary pressure behind the ears.
Wide Hi-Contrast cycling lens
The cylindrical SCN-PP Hi-Contrast shield provides a wide, uninterrupted field of view. It is designed to improve contrast, road-surface definition and visual comfort when speed, brightness and terrain change rapidly.
The interchangeable lens construction also allows the rider to replace the original screen or adapt the glasses to different seasons and riding conditions.
Ventilation and secure adjustment
Strategically positioned ventilation ports support airflow behind the lens and help reduce fogging during climbs, humid rides and low-speed efforts.
The Horizon Adapt™ adjustment system, fully adjustable FlexiFit 2.0™ nose pad and flexible titanium temples make it possible to refine the position of the glasses according to the rider’s face, helmet and riding posture.
Prescription lens compatibility
The Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium is compatible with the Scicon AC028 optical insert, allowing cyclists who require corrective lenses to retain the coverage, stability and ventilation of a full performance shield.
